Favour Umar Foundation is a non-governmental organization founded by Favour Umar on November 22, 2021, when she turned 23. It was established as a way of reaching out to others after discovering her purpose of existence.
Our organization is dedicated to helping those in need, including:
We provide spiritual, mental, physical, psychological, and emotional support to those who need it most.
We distribute food, clothes, and shoes to those in need. We also help allocate orphans and street kids to various organizations that can provide them with care and support.
We look after people with various needs, including the elderly, students, orphans, street kids, people with disabilities, the sick, prisoners, widows, and single mothers.
We write proposals for funds from various companies and NGOs within Malawi and abroad. We also run social media campaigns to raise awareness about the challenges faced by those we help.
We reached out to 50 students, providing them with clothes and shoes. The orphanage still needs support for food, school materials, and school fees.
We distributed cooking utensils and milk in the Eyesight Department. The hospital still needs mattresses, food, soap, and financial support for cancer patients seeking treatment abroad.
We support the Yohane Foundation, which nurtures and cares for street kids through their Love Builds program.
In 2024, we have the vision of:
Our goal is to create a sustainable and comprehensive support system for those in need within our community.
